Description
In housing co-ops, managers interact with many different people including co-op members, the board, other staff, contractors and the public. Managers must have special skills so they can communicate effectively. In this course we’ll talk about the role of the manager in managing, directing and leading a successful co-op. We’ll talk about the many aspects of human relations in property management including:
• decision-making and strategic planning
• communication
• team building
• hiring, training and supervising staff
• managing conflict and change
• board and member relations.
Tax is included in course cost.
